Analyst/Senior Analyst, AACU Information Security Join our American Airlines family as an Analyst/Senior Analyst, AACU Information Security and help protect our information assets. This role provides operational support within the Credit Union's Information Security Department. What You'll Do Audit and monitor production system logs for unauthorized transactions and intrusions. Assist in security risk assessments and disaster recovery/business continuity planning. Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Provide analysis and recommendations for security configurations to IT Project Managers. Perform administrative tasks such as issue tracking, communication, and documentation. Promote security awareness programs across the organization. Communicate effectively with management and peers. Lead projects for installing new security applications and technologies. Ensure optimal use of security software and tools. Collaborate with various departments to maintain security standards. Manage end-user permissions following least privilege policies. Support the Technology Service Desk with escalated security issues. Maintain knowledge of emerging security technologies and trends. Senior Analyst Additional Responsibilities Identify emerging threats and oversee threat hunting activities. Conduct ongoing threat and vulnerability assessments. Assess security risks and develop migration strategies. Define new system security requirements and lead security reviews. Design security architecture and develop cybersecurity designs. Document standard operating procedures and protocols. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business or IT from an accredited university with 3+ years of security experience. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, MCITP, MCSE, GIAC. Experience with networking, protocols, and security technologies. Subject matter expertise in areas like intrusion detection, antivirus, access controls, etc. Skills, Licenses & Certifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to analyze logs and network traffic for security issues. Knowledge of industry standards like NIST, ISO, COBIT. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to be on-call and work flexible shifts. Ability to travel as needed.
