Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team and support compensation programs across our 2,000-employee organization. This role will play a key part in maintaining competitive pay structures, conducting market analysis, and supporting compensation processes that align with our company’s business goals and people strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the administration and maintenance of compensation structures across all job families and business units.
• Conduct market pricing and benchmarking analyses using salary survey data to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
• Assist with annual compensation processes, including merit reviews, bonus calculations, and salary adjustments.
• Develop and maintain complex Excel models and tools to analyze pay data, trends, and scenarios.
• Participate in job evaluations, review job descriptions, and recommend appropriate job levels and salary ranges.
• Support the preparation of compensation reports, analytics, and presentations for HR and business leaders.
• Partner with HRBPs and Talent Acquisition to ensure offers and compensation recommendations are aligned with internal guidelines and market data.
• Monitor compensation trends and assist in policy development and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency laws).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills required, including proficiency with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested formulas, and data visualization (Power Query or Power Pivot a plus).
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail is essential.
• Experience with compensation survey platforms (e.g., Mercer, Radford, Culpepper) preferred.
• Experience using PayFactors preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with HR and business stakeholders.
