Pay Rate $22.00 per hour Job Type Full-time Location Sunnyvale, CA Shift & Schedule Monday-Friday 730AM-400PM What we're looking for* Patrols an assigned area to observe automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and other vehicles for parking violations. Issues citations for improper use of specifically designated, improper parking such as parking in crosswalks or other sidewalks, improperly parked motorcycles, parking in preferential areas, and related violations. Operate a license plate reading technology through touch screen interface. Supervise towing and removal of vehicles by contracted vendors. Checks the operational condition of enforcement vehicles and performs routine operator maintenance such as charging EV, and inflating tires, etc. Operates computer equipment and two-way radio, handheld device and technology. Completes data required for citations including but not limited to violation type, time, date and location of offense, vehicle license plate number and/or vehicle identification number; Provide customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations and parking policies. Issue citations and warnings for non-compliance with a hand held device and issuing memes. Exercise proper judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with people. Assist maintenance staff with duties related to parking equipment, facility upkeep and maintenance. Clean vehicles before and after each shift. Stock supplies as needed. May be asked to perform cashier, flagger or valet duties. May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company’s maintenance checklists. Must haves You are at least 18 years old. High School degree preferred. One year related experience preferred. Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence. Must have a valid DMV driver’s license. Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer. Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner. Must maintain a neat and clean appearance in adherence to company standards at all times. Good to haves Valet parking 1 year+ Customer service 1 year+ This list is not all-inclusive.
