Job Overview:
A school district near Hillcrest Heights, Maryland is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for the 20252026 school year . This is an itinerant position , requiring travel between multiple early childhood sites to provide services and support to preschool-aged students with special needs.
Location: Near Hillcrest Heights, Maryland (multiple early childhood centers)
Schedule: Full-Time, 20252026 School Year
Caseload: Preschool-aged children (35 years old)
Travel: Required between assigned sites (mileage reimbursement typically available)
Deliver individualized and small-group instruction in accordance with IEP goals
Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families
Conduct assessments and participate in IEP development
Support inclusion and early intervention services across various preschool settings
Active Maryland Special Education Certification (Early Childhood or BirthGrade 3 preferred)
Must be willing and able to travel between sites
Experience in early childhood and itinerant services preferred
Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
