Soliant is seeking a dedicated and culturally responsive Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher to serve Indigenous students ages 35 at a Head Start Center in Minnesota. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining independence in classroom planning and instruction.
Provide individualized and group instruction to preschool-aged students with special needs
Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and service providers
Collaborate with a comprehensive service team, including SLPs, OTs, PTs, Psychologists, and Social Workers
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
Foster a supportive and culturally sensitive classroom environment
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Valid Minnesota teaching license with ECSE Endorsement or equivalent certification
Experience working with preschool-aged children with disabilities
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team-based service model
Demonstrated cultural competence and commitment to working with Indigenous communities
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
This position requires a commitment of hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday
Employment is for the duration of the school year, following the academic calendar
