About Us

MediaLinks TV, LLC provides production and administrative support for information-based companies. It serves CGTN America, an award-winning news organization recognized for high-quality, objective news coverage. CGTN America functions as the Washington News Bureau for China Central Television (“CCTV”), which broadcasts multi-language news channels to over 100 countries, including the United States.

About the Role

We are seeking an Executive Producer for the Digital team at CGTN America.

Responsibilities

• Oversee content production for all digital media output for CGTN America and CGTN.
• Create innovative content and products supporting future initiatives.
• Optimize content for social sharing to build an engaging digital audience.
• Liaise with the TV programming team and develop a creative production team.
• Establish effective workflows for the team.
• Manage overall vision, content, editorial planning, and daily operations.
• Oversee planning calendars and team schedules.
• Collaborate with other teams such as editors, reporters, digital producers, and guest bookers.
• Maintain confidentiality and data security.
• Support finance-related activities as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• BA/BS degree in journalism, communications, or related field (preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience on news digital platforms.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience in digital production.
• Proficient in Photoshop and Premiere or similar software.
• Experience with website and digital platform development.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly.
• Strong writing and editing skills for web and digital content.
• Experience managing multiple social media channels.
• Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital trends.
• Interest in international news.
• Flexibility for shift work and holidays.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and a second language are advantages.
