Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer with strong development expertise to join a fast-paced project team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented developer who thrives under tight deadlines and enjoys turning complex software processes into clear, engaging training. The ideal candidate has deep experience using Articulate 360 (primarily Storyline) to create interactive, user-friendly eLearning courses and excels at building learning content quickly and accurately.

This individual will work closely with other instructional designers, project managers, and subject matter experts to develop software training and related learning materials. The ability to work efficiently as part of a collaborative team is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline 360, with a focus on software/system training.
• Translate technical and procedural content into clear, engaging, learner-friendly experiences.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure content accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Develop supporting materials such as job aids, quick reference guides, and practice activities.
• Maintain attention to detail and meet aggressive timelines without sacrificing quality.
• Participate in design reviews and implement feedback efficiently.
• Support updates and revisions to existing learning content as needed.

Start Date: Mid to Late June

Duration: 2 to 4 months with possible extension

Hours: Hours may fluctuate, but are estimated to be 40 hours per week

Location: Virtual

Experience Required:

• 7+ years of experience in instructional design with a strong focus on rapid eLearning development.
• Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360; familiarity with Rise, Camtasia, or Vyond is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience creating software or systems training.
• Solid understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and performance-based training.
• Highly efficient, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
• Experience with ILT/vILT development is preferred but not required.
• A background check is required for the selected consultant
• Must be able to share work samples during an interview

The pay range for this is $55.00 to $60.00 per hour W2. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
