Overview:

Our client, a prestigious firm, is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Partner or Counsel with a strong focus on advice and counsel across a variety of critical areas. This role involves providing strategic guidance on issues such as recruitment and retention, workplace misconduct, labor union relations, and diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer expert advice and counsel on a broad range of labor and employment matters.
• Address issues related to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) claims, discrimination, and retaliation.
• Provide counsel on non-compete agreements and other workplace policies.
• Collaborate with the firm's healthcare labor and employment practice on cases involving complex regulatory environments.
• Engage in some labor and employment litigation as needed, though the primary focus will be on advisory work.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in labor and employment law, with an emphasis on advice and counsel.
• Strong knowledge of EEOC regulations and discrimination law.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• For Partner candidates: a portable book of business exceeding $500,000.
• Counsel-level candidates do not require a portable book.
