Are you passionate about helping others achieve their homeownership dreams? We are looking for a dedicated and driven Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team. In this role, you'll assist borrowers in finding the right loan program, completing their loan applications, and gather all necessary documents to start the mortgage process. You'll work closely with various parties, including appraisers, title officers, escrow officers, processors, and underwriters, to ensure a smooth journey for the borrower from start to finish.
What You'll Do:
Originate mortgage loans through self-generated leads, corporate referrals, and other campaigns.
Interview applicants to understand their financial goals and recommend the best loan options, terms, and pricing.
Guide borrowers through the application process, ensuring all required documentation (pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements) is gathered and submitted for underwriting.
Maintain timely and accurate communication with all parties involved in the mortgage process.
Drive daily marketing efforts to consistently generate a minimum of 4 loans per month.
Assist with customer inquiries via phone and provide excellent service throughout the mortgage process.
Meet both team and individual sales/production goals.
Maintain and utilize a CRM system to track and manage client information effectively.
What We're Looking For:
An active License is required.
At least 2 years of experience as a loan originator.
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple loans and priorities simultaneously.
Proficient in analyzing and interpreting financial data.
Professional, effective interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mentality.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
A high level of ethical standards in all interactions with colleagues, clients, and partners.
