Geisinger ConvenientCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Mt. Carmel, PA. Geisinger ConvenientCare (urgent care) clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections and more. Routine health exams, immunizations, screenings and wellness services are also provided. ConvenientCare offers a $20k recruitment incentive paid upon start with a 30-month work obligation, a $7,800 geography stipend guaranteed for 1 year, an attractive schedule with no overnight shifts, limited call nights, and six observed holidays. The position allows autonomous work with limited administrative burden and access to Geisinger’s network of resources and specialists. Benefits include a robust 401(k) plan, 80 CME hours, $3,000 CME funds, relocation assistance, and academic opportunities. Experience required includes a minimum of six months advanced practitioner experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care. Education requirements include a Bachelor's Degree (required) and Master's Degree (preferred) for Physician Assistants. Certifications required include Basic Life Support, Certified Nurse Practitioner, and Licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
