Pennsylvania Radiation Oncology

We're seeking a locum tenens Radiation Oncologist in Pennsylvania to help with an ongoing need. This assignment offers flexible scheduling allowing you to maintain an excellent work-life balance.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient practice
• Approximately 20 patients per shift
• Supported by a team of 1 RN and 1 MA
• Collaboration with Hershey Medical Center and St. Joseph Medical Center

Schedule

• Block scheduling is an option
• Work scheduled clinical hours only
• You can choose dates that work with your schedule
• No long-term commitment necessary

Procedures and Cases

• External Beam Therapy (EBRT) including Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, Electrons
• Techniques such as Conventional/Conformal Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) - all types
• Treatment planning including Conventional, Beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI)

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
• Pennsylvania medical license required
• BLS certification
• Experience with Aria required

Credentialing Requirements

• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days
• Temporary privileges available
• Submission of last 24 months of case logs required
