Job Title: Production and Product Development Assistant

Status:   Non-Exempt

Position Overview:

The Production & Product Development Assistant will support the full product lifecycle—from concept through production—by helping ensure timely development, accurate documentation, and smooth communication across departments. This is a cross-functional role that requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.



Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Enter purchase orders and maintain accurate production records
  • Create and manage SKUs in internal systems
  • Build assemblies and bills of materials (BOMs) for new and existing styles
  • Attribute new styles with detailed product information (materials, finishes, size, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to coordinate product photography
  • Maintain and update the production calendar to reflect key deadlines
  • Track samples and manage follow-up communications with vendors and internal teams
  • Review and reconcile sample invoices
  • Coordinate and ship raw materials for manufacturing
  • Maintain product specification sheets and catalogs

Qualifications:

  • Position is on-site, full time in Los Angeles, CA.
  • 1–2 years of experience in production, product development, or a similar operational role (fashion or jewelry experience a plus)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn

Additional Information:

  • Hourly Rate: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
