WROC-TV/RochesterFirst.com in Rochester, New York is hiring a Production Director who is responsible for researching, planning, managing and producing news programming. Code and Direct daily live local newscasts and other live and prerecorded productions using Ross OverDrive and ENPS Work closely with News Producers, Photographers, Engineers and other Directors to enhance our final on-air product Edit with technical proficiency and visual effectiveness using Adobe Premiere Work well in a collaborative team environment; multitasking, problem-solving and making last-minute decisions under pressure and tight deadlines Be self-sufficient, managing multiple projects with competing priorities. Perform other job-related requests and duties as assigned Requirements & Skills: Bachelor's degree in communications, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience is preferred Experience in news operations and/or production is preferred Ross OverDrive, ENPS and Adobe Premiere experience a plus Demonstrate excellent communication skills; fluent in English, oral and written Available to work all dayparts (mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays), as well as extended hours as assigned Compensation $ 17-$18 /hour commensurate with applicant's experience and skill level.
