Job Description

Brex is the AI-powered spend platform. We help companies spend with confidence with integrated corporate cards, banking, and global payments, plus intuitive software for travel and expenses. Tens of thousands of companies from startups to enterprises — including DoorDash, Flexport, and Compass — use Brex to proactively control spend, reduce costs, and increase efficiency on a global scale.

Working at Brex allows you to push your limits, challenge the status quo, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry. We’re committed to building a diverse team and inclusive culture and believe your potential should only be limited by how big you can dream. We make this a reality by empowering you with the tools, resources, and support you need to grow your career.

The Product team is at the forefront of Brex's mission to empower employees anywhere to make better financial decisions. With a deep understanding of the business, we identify and scope out the most impactful opportunities for Brex to tackle. We are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams — such as Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Design — on key decisions. We set strategy and drive products from inception to launch, enabling Brex to grow rapidly and help our customers reach their full potential.

What you’ll do

As a senior member of the Product Management team at Brex, you will be responsible for owning the roadmap and strategy of your product line, aligning multiple teams and stakeholders, and creating product features, models and tools that enable our customers to easily utilize and enjoy Brex products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and other Product Managers across the organization, based in San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Vancouver, Brazil and remote locations.

Where you’ll work

This role will be based in either our San Francisco or New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office at least 2 days per week on Wednesday and Thursday. Employees will be able to work remotely for up to 4 weeks per year, for a minimum of one week at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the strategy and roadmap across Brex’s products and services, working closely with stakeholders across the organization
  • Build a deep understanding of what customers need to successfully utilize Brex products
  • Define new products and features by working closely with engineering, design, data and operations to launch them
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team including Engineering, Operations, Sales, and partner with other Product Managers
  • Set clear goals and metrics for the team as well as new products and features and be held accountable to achieving them

Requirements

  • Relevant experience: 5+ years of experience in product or management consulting, ideally with direct responsibility or experience scaling products and GTM systems.
  • Analytical sense: You show aptitude and appetite for using data to inform your decision-making. Basic SQL proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Communication: You have experience working and communicating with senior leaders and executives and influencing stakeholders across departments and functions. This includes knowing how to build trust and working relationships across Eng, Design, Marketing, Sales, CRMX/Business Systems, IT, Legal, and more
  • Systems-thinker: You are a system thinker, capable of thinking in terms of product, technical, and people systems to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for revenue and product growth.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $180,000 - $230,000. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
