Position Purpose: This role on the platform team will help build the snowflake platform to handle the company's analytics. Administers and configures software and infrastructure services on the cloud platform. Manages cloud infrastructure as code. Automates deployment and administration. Ensures security of cloud components. Works with the DevOps team to manage upgrades, enhancements, and software migrations to drive the successful deployment of cloud infrastructure and applications. Administers cloud-based environments. Executes code-based CI/CD deployment plans for new and existing infrastructure based on standards and best practices provided. Develops monitoring solutions that give greater visibility into performance and reliability of cloud environments. Communicates with Development, Network, and Security groups and integrates their requirements in all environment build plans. Builds and maintains capacity plans to include cloud-based deployments. Develops and implements technical efforts to design, build, and deploy cloud applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing and advanced analytics. Delivers continuous integration and delivery pipeline and standards by enabling common DevSecOps tooling in the cloud environment and providing development teams with the ability to execute builds, run tests, and deploy in an automated fashion. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science). Requires 2 – 4 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skill reflective of the level of this position. Technical Skills: Experience with one or more of the following Amazon Web Services. Experience with networking and firewall concepts and troubleshooting. Knowledge of automation languages such as Python or SQL. Experience with Cloud Formation, Terraform, or Gitlab. Soft Skills: Intermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty. Intermediate - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Intermediate - Ability to work independently.
