Data Analyst – People Analytics (Remote)

Pay Rate : $34.00–$35.00/hour, 40 hours/week
Location: Remote to Des Peres, MO HQ, Hybrid if within 100 miles of the location.
Length: July 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, with possible extensions and full-time employment potential.

VisionCor Solutions partners with leading organizations to deliver exceptional solutions. Join our team and support our client’s projects. We are currently seeking a Data Analyst – People Analytics to work as a part of an HR Human Capital Insights team.

We are seeking a Data Analyst – People Analytics with a strong foundation in people analytics, SQL development, and data extraction to join a team focused on workforce strategy and talent intelligence. This role plays a key part in supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization by transforming people data into meaningful insights. Data reporting analysts in this role transform people data into actionable insights that influence business decisions and workforce strategy. The position spans two core areas:

· Analytics : Supporting project-based analysis to uncover workforce trends, attrition risks, and engagement drivers

· Talent Intelligence : Extracting and organizing workforce data using SQL, building Power BI dashboards, and generating reports from systems like PeopleSoft and BrassRing

This role places a strong emphasis on data extraction and SQL coding , with reporting as a secondary function. An understanding of the legal implications of handling people data is critical.

Responsibilities

· Collaborate with business users to identify data needs and define specifications that support strategic and operational decisions

· Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and organize large datasets, particularly from PeopleSoft and Oracle HCM systems

· Attend stakeholder meetings to clarify data requirements and ensure accurate, legally compliant reporting

· Analyze and audit workforce data, review system errors, and troubleshoot issues related to data warehouse loads and file interfaces

· Recommend and implement enhancements to improve data usability, accuracy, and delivery

· Prioritize data extraction and reporting requests based on business value, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

· Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, SSRS, and Crystal Reports when needed

· Ensure proper handling and dissemination of sensitive people data in compliance with legal and privacy standards

Qualifications

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a closely related field

· 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or people analytics

· Prior experience working with PeopleSoft and/or Oracle HCM

· Experience handling sensitive HR/talent data with legal and compliance awareness

Technical Skills

· Advanced SQL coding and optimization for data extraction

· PeopleSoft, Oracle HCM, and recruiting systems like BrassRing

· Experience with Power BI, Crystal Reports, SSRS, and Oracle databases

Core Competencies

· Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail

· Ability to work independently with a strategic, business-oriented perspective

· Clear understanding of privacy, compliance, and legal boundaries when handling people data

· Strong communication skills and a collaborative, consultative working style
