About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned IT Business Analyst Specialist with Workday implementation expertise to support a major finance transformation program. This role is onsite at a leading financial institution in McLean, VA, and will be instrumental in coordinating UAT efforts and ensuring successful Workday Financial Management integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), communicating acceptance criteria to stakeholders including controllers and project teams
• Develop test strategies, organize testers across multiple accounting units (Single Family, Multifamily, Capital Markets, Corporate)
• Create, manage, and track UAT scorecards, issues, and progress
• Use and manage historical mock data for testing purposes
• Track and resolve defects, organize expected results, and validate test outcomes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, IT, and compliance teams
• Support Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and IT General Controls (ITGC)

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 7+ years in senior business analyst or consulting roles on large-scale enterprise programs
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financials conversions & reporting
• Familiarity with IT controls, SOC, ICFR, and financial compliance
• Experience in stakeholder collaboration and UAT leadership
• Ability to lead teams and communicate with accounting officers & project leadership
• Workday certification (preferred)
