Job Title: Director of Operations

Location: Midtown, New York City

Shift: Full-Time – On site

Salary: $80,000-$125,000

Overview: A leading commercial cleaning and janitorial company in Midtown New York City is actively seeking a detail oriented and experienced Director of Operations

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing several aspects of the business including but not limiting: office support staff, assessing new jobs and setting up for success with new staff, schedules and supplies. Overseeing and ensuring the work is scheduled and performed properly, assisting in hiring staff including supervisor, following up on work completed, seeing clients to maintain a smooth relationship.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with cleaning staff
• Assign proper cleaning staff to responsibilities
• Forecast new jobs and assignments to ensure proper coverage
• Following up on completed jobs to ensure work is up to company standards
• Directing and overseeing supervisors
• Assisting in the hiring process

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in cleaning / janitorial operations required
• Take the lead in operations to ensure smooth work days
• Must work well with others, work as a team
• Proven track record in effectively and efficiently manage office operations
• Proven capacity to maintain order amidst various tasks and responsibilities
• Demonstrate the ability to efficiently juggle multiple tasks and prioritize them based on urgency and importance
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct
• Must be familiar with NYC and transportation
